How would you like it if you were playing out, and some of your stuff was taken?? Hmmmm?? How would you feel if someone stole your pomp wig? Yes! It's a wig! What if someone took it right off your head, and ran out the door with it? How would you feel? A bit snooty?? Yes, indeed....I fear you would, my no-longer-"frustrated" friend!
Aside from that...the demo's are very very good...everyone should have a listen. Looks like they're booking shows other than that D.C. one they mentioned...one in PA, and NY.
A few more people need to get in on this blog...I'm going to pass on some invites...

Do you mean this wig? http://www.clubdevo.com/mp_redesign/images/store/pomp.jpg
I would be mildly upset if that were taken. I would be even more upset if they took THIS wig-> http://www.clubdevo.com/mp_redesign/images/store/pomp-blue.jpg
However, I would be fuming if they took my energy dome. http://www.clubdevo.com/mp_redesign/store.html especially if it was the blue one.
Actually to quote Brent from Infinite Number of Sounds:
"That's an interesting assessment of Denali... I didn't happen to catch this show, but INS played with them in Bowling Green over the summer and I agree with you that they definitely "distance" themselves from the audience... I guess it must be working though because about month later they started appearing on magazine covers all over the place...." (from the ExBe board http://experimentalbehavior.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=307&highlight=)
I still really dig the music of Denali. I'll check out Maura's new stuff. I tend to diassociate the artist's personality away from the music I like if their demeanor is negative. Dick Dale for instance is, well...He lives up to his first name. But his music is the shiggety.
I completely and totally agree with the last post. They did seem to be distancing themselves...but then again, I don't know how Rhombus or INS would act after touring with the Deftones and playing large venues, stages, etc. and then going and playing a venue like the Beachland Tavern. Get what I mean?
I don't know, maybe I'm viewing it differently.
